Nightlife in Bocas del Toro? Gay bars?
I'm doing a week in Panama, wrapping up the last few days of my trip in Bocas del Toro. I'll be arriving in Bocas on a Thursday morning, and my flight back to the U.S. leaves from Panama City that Sunday evening. I'm debating whether I should stay in Bocas Thursday-Sunday and make the connection straight to my flight home, or whether I should I come back to Panama City Saturday night and stay there for my last night.
Is there any nightlife in Bocas? I'd like to go out and have some fun my last night in Panama, and I'll be traveling alone. Any advice on whether there is Saturday night partying in Bocas would be greatly appreciated.
One more thing: are there any gay or gay-friendly bars in Bocas del Toro?

If you do the entire flight thing on Sunday, don't cut it close between flights. You'll have to change airports in Panama City. Domestic flights use Albrook airport west of the city in the former Canal Zone. International flights use Tocumen airport, about 30 minutes east of the city.
I doubt there's anything resembling gay nightlife in Bocas.

@joelingermany ~ I'm doing the same thing for my trip... leaving Bocas on the early flight.. have 7 hours before my flight back to LAX... I've been told by a few friends that have traveled to Panama before that this should not be a problem... have fun and travel safe...

hi guys,
we're heading to panama in february and considering going to bocas del toro for a few days as well but i can't find any info on gay friendly accommodation. we're not looking for a party scene...just some where we will feel comfortable and not get run out of town.
money is no object.
any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
