Need advice from avrooster

Who would you recommend for a 1 day immersion tour of BA. My wife an I will be there for about 10 days but I'd like an immesion before heading out on our own. Note that we are in our late 30s/early 40s (no kids) and love shopping and eating and want to expereience the local scene vs. tousity stuff. Thanks!

Oh boy! This is a dream come true!

A question directed to me! Hooray!

However (sound of a deep sigh), I must humbly apologize, as I don't have an answer.

I'll refer the question to my superior officer, the world-famous Dr. Dawggy.

It could take a while, because he may be taking a well-deserved vacation.

In the meantime, I suggest further research, both in this forum and in http://tinyurl.com/nw9f4

Have a great time in our country.

I took just such a tour in June. It was arranged by Cintia Stella at Wow Argentina. My guide's name was Natalia.

It gave me a great overview of the city. They are very flexible about where you go. You have a private car and driver so there is no schedule. The guide will help you pick a great place for lunch too. It wasn't cheap, but it was a great investment in having a good trip.

I should have noted that , of course, I am not AV Rooster or Dr. Dawggy, but I have had dinner with them!

And I thought avrooster was "all knowing"...that will teach me! ;-)Thanks for the reply teach2travel. Based on your earlier posting I already contacted Cinita at WoW. She just replied to my inquiry today.
