Need advice for 16 days in Chiapas

Flying in and out of Villahermosa. Planning La Venta Park (Olmecs), Palenque and San Cristobal. We have a car and 16 days. I speak Spanish and am very comfortable in Mexico. Any advice on what to else to see in area / itinerary suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

I spent a few weeks based in San Cris in 2010 and stayed really busy. My photos with blog and travelogue links on the main page of each collection are below in case you're interested - all my recommendations are embedded there. Happy trails! http://www.flickr.com/photos/staceyholeman/collections

Palenque ruins plus another day for Yaxchilan/Bonampak are a must.

There are some lovely waterfalls between Palenque and San Cristobal de las Casas -- well worth seeing! (BTW, you might want some dramamine for that ride.)

Enjoy!

Thanks all for the feedback! Any experience with the Pacific coast of Chiapas?
