Monteverde climate - will I be cold at night in Arco Iris?

How chilly does it actually get in Monteverde. I will be there at the end of January.

I know that El Sapo Dorado mountain suites have a fireplace. How does Arco iris keep the lodge warm at night? Is there a heater?

Monteverde gets very windy in January and February, so it's pretty chilly up there.

Arco Iris is individual cabins scattered around the grounds rather than a big lodge. When I stay there, I just get the extra blanket off the shelf and use it on the bed. There are no heaters.

I didn't stay at Arco Iris, but I was pretty cold at night in Monteverde. Think layers -- bring a lightweight fleece or sweater.

Is it worth it to pay the extra $ for El Sapo Dorado to get a fireplace?(because Arco Iris is soooo reasonably priced)

I apparently have no meat on my bones so I get cold easily

I dont believe the fireplace would be worth it; think about a light windbreaker in case it showers during the day.
