Logistics for Tequila from Guadalajara
My husband and I are interested in spending some time in Tequila for his 40th birthday in June.
Ideally, he would like to fly into Guadalajara and spend a night, and then head to Tequila for two nights at Hotel Solar de las Animas, and then return back to Guadalajara for another night before heading home.
He really wants to do the Jose Cuervo tequila train, but that does not appear to be an option since it’s a day trip only. The three main distilleries he is interested in are Cuervo, Suaza and Herradura.
Does anybody have any advice on how to make this happen? Do any tour operators offer something like this? We don’t want to actually be on a tour group with others for three days, but if that’s what we have to do so be it. I’ve been researching and am a total loss.
Thanks.
