When I was there in December it was 90 to 97 F !!

So I would think that shorts and bathing suit would be just fine.

Have not heard of the Costa Real in Ixtapa.!
Is this a new place.?

o.k...i have rates and am deciding between the Radisson Ixtapa, or Las Brisas. I am looking for a nice room, good mexican food, good beach/property, etc...Any feedback?

The Radisson is oneof the hotles along the Ixtapa Hotel Strip.

It is a nice place , but between the two,the Las Brisas is much nicer , more secluded but nicer and more upscale.

For shopping and walking along the "Strip " at night, from the Radisson , you just walk across the main road ( strip)

From the Las Brisas, you have to walk about 4 blocks just to get to the strip which is called Ixtapa Blvd.

and then about 4 blocks to your Left on Ixtapa Blvd., so about 8 block walk !!!

Any more qquestions !!

Yes Taxis are cheap and you negotiate the price before hand and that is all there is to it.

There will be many taxi's at the airport plying their trade and seeking your business!

Have fun, it is a nice place and you have the best of both worlds.

Ixtapa the Tourist resort and

Zihuatanejo the more quaint Mexican place.
