Iguazu Falls

I am arriving at the Falls on the Argentina side (from BA), and had planned on leaving the next evening from the Brazil side. Any comments on how long it takes to cross, is it best to hire a driver to see the Falls from the Brazil side before departing? Any help is appreciated!

You are aware of the fact that such a trip would require a Brazilian visa?

You are totally right avrooster, but in my experience local taxi drivers can get you through. Well they used to now I do not know. Staceytann, should you be prepared to do it, you can ask from recent persons who might have done it.As I recall it the Brazilian airport is far, the crossing to see the falls is very close I think you might ask your hotel about of all these local things. They surely know.

Graziella: the OP plans ARRIVE at the Falls from the Argentine side and LEAVE from the Brazilian side. I'm pretty sure a visa would be required for that.

We were there 2 weeks ago. It took about 15 minutes to get through Argentinian customs. At the Brazilian checkpoint, well....they didn't even check. We drove right through. We did have visas though.
