How long in B de C

Traveling w/19-yr-old. Is 4 days enough to see & do area activities?

We just got back from Bosque del Cabo and loved it. I would say 4 or 5 days there is just about right. You can go to their website and take a look at all the activities they offer, and that will give you an idea of how much time to allow. We were there 4 nights and did the Primary Tour with Phillip, birding with Carlos, and took a trip to the animal sanctuary and saw dolphins as a bonus. There's also several trails you can hike.

If you do a search for my name, you'll see a question I posted called Bosque del Cabo Activities where everyone recommended their favorites; it really helped us.

I would think four days would be an adequate amount of time. There is a lot to see and do here, and you could spend a week doing it "all." It is also a great place to do nothing.

How long are you staying in Costa Rica total? I have seen some of your other posts, and you are inquiring about a lot of other places. If you are going to see more of Costa Rica, then you need to make sure you leave enough time to do so.

Hope this helps! Let me know if I can offer more advice.

Warm Regards,

4 days is long enough to explore and hike the trails and take in the wildlife and surroundings. The on-site guided walks give you plenty of time the rest of the day to do your own thing. If you have tours you want to take outside of BDC, you might want to dedicate one day and combine 2 tours. That's what we did so we only had to return to town once. We stayed 5 nights, but several people we met were there for 3 and were happy with that too.

Happy travels!

One of the couples we met was there for 11 days - seemed way too long to us. Personally I think it's great to explore different areas and not stay in one place for the entire trip.

11 days! 11 days for me anywhere would be too long. Too many things to see and do. 4-5 days is a nice amount of time.

Hey girls, were either of you in the airport on June 8th? I arrived that day wearing my Women of the Osa tshirt and there was someone in the departure area wearing one too!

Oh, wow, what a coincidence - it wasn't me; we were there end of June and beginning of July. I always wonder if I'm seeing fellow Fodorites and don't know it - especially at places like BdC group dinners - almost want to call out all the names I know and see if anyone answers back.
