Hotels in Nosara

Anybody got any recommendations for hotels in Nosara? I've read some reviews of Harmony, but that's a bit out of my price range. Thanks.

We stayed at Villa Mango, a very nice inn and loved it. Our room on the top floor of the house was large and spacious with a very nice tiled bath. Breakfast was included and it was delicious. I recommend the inn highly.

We also love Villa Mango but another inexpensive option is Casa Romantica. The advantage there is that you can walk to the beach at Guiones in a few minutes. You can also walk to some restaurants from there.

I also enjoyed the gilded iguana. this January, a double with a/c is $65 a night, about 10$ less off season.

The owner is very prompt responding to emails and the staff is most friendly and helpful. Nothing in Nosara is built on the beach and this hotel has a very close/convenient location across the road from the path to the beach.

I should have added that my $35/night room at Gilded Iguana didn;t have air conditioning but I felt that we didn't need it. One entire wall of the room had louvers to allow breezes in. There were also plenty of fans in the room and it even got a tad chilly at night
