Guide Recommendations For Arenal Hanging Bridges?

Everyone on this forum says to use a guide for the Arenal Hanging Bridges. Can anyone give me the name/contact info of a guide they used and liked?

There are usually guides available for hire at the entrance to the Bridges.

We had actually booked the Hanging Bridges through our hotel tour desk. Sunset Tours (who get lots of glowing reviews here) was the company that our hotel used. We did the bridges with one of their tour guides and had a nice time.

Our experience was the same as c's. We saw guides for hire at the Hanging Bridges, but I'd be very comfortable booking someone through Sunset Tours; we've used them for Cano Negro, birding, and volcano hikes and have had good luck.

We just got our guide right at the Hanging Bridges itself. We had our own car, so we didn't need to do a tour. By doing it this way, we were the only two people with our guide. I'm not sure if it would always work out that way or not by getting the guide right there as compared to going with a tour like Sunset - but it was really nice having the guide to ourselves!

We had a guide for one of our days in Arenal. We did the Hanging brige, La Fortuna waterfall, and ended the day at the Arenal volcano, which was clear for most of our trip. Our guide was Wilmer Flores, [email protected]

He was very both knowledgable and personable. In other words a very nice guy. We would definitely look him up on our next trip.

We did not use a guide for the hanging bridges and didn't feel that we missed out on anything. We happened across an entire family of howler monkeys on our own! Guess we were lucky.
