LAN, the company we usually suggest flying, has been allowed to fly to more destinations favored by tourists, such as Calafate, Salta, Punta del Este and several others.
Flights to El Calafate will start on November 7.

Hola mis amigos,
Just checked on our LAN flights: we paid $682.22 for 2 persons AEP-BRC and PMC-SCL in July.
Same flights at the end of Oct are $902.14 today.

Seems the premium is for the Sat (Sat/Mon) segment on LAN: same itinerary on Sun/Mon is $653.26.

That is good news! We were very impressed with LAN on our flights BsAs to and from Puerto Iguazu for our two night stay. The crews were great and we even got fed! Unheard of now on US domestic flights. Hope fares will be reasonable when we return to BsAs and then on to other Argentina destinations for the first time.

Another update:
In July, we paid $198.42 for our rt flts AEP-IGR in late Oct on AerolineasArgentinas. Same flts are now $563.32.
Today on LAN $231.04 for same dates.
