Good restaurants in Placencia

Are there any good restaurants in walking distance of Turtle Inn? We're staying there 4 nights and hope to eat out 1 or 2 of those. Looking for good food, funky/casual atmosphere, maybe even live music? Thanks for your help!!!!

When we were in Placencia a couple years ago, Turtle Inn provided transportation to the restaurants in town. I have no idea if they still do this.

During the day, it's a nice walk along the beach into town. Since it's been a couple years, and restaurants change so quickly, I hesitate to reommend.

Just came back from Belize on Tuesday What an amazing time! A great place to eat in Placencia is De Tatch--you won't believe the size of the shrimp they serve and the huge portions. Delicious.
The Tipsy Tuna has live music on Sunday

Saks is within walking distance of Turtle Inn and the food was good. In town try The Purple Space Monkey and DeTatch - both good!
