duffer48...hi! Did you see my daughters post on TA that I had her put up? Seems my account was removed and I cannot get back on there to talk to those people who have been so generously helping me with my issue over the last week( you were one of them which is why I was trying to reach anyone from there that may be on here)...I went to post an update yesterday and realized my ip has been blocked so I had my daughter post on my behalf. Anyways, even though I havent been able to respond, I have seen people asking where I went and so forth so I wanted to reach someone to tell them what had happened to me! Also wanted to thank everyone for their help and report that after a lot of ruffling of feathers I was albe to resolve my issue and am no longer booked at that hotel...in fact have been upgraded also!

Please if you would pass along this message because I dont want people to think I rudely dumped my account without so much as a thank you when everyone was so nice. Thanks!!

Hi Sandi, It's me....SimplyRedMN. I do have a different screen name here. I started posting on Fodors a long time ago. Glad you found my post on TA and you were able to come here. Very weird situation on the other board. I also saw your daughters post on TA.

I just wanted you to know what had happened to me lol! As I said above to duffer,everyone had reached out so supportively I just wanted to make sure they were updated on my story and that they knew I appreciated the help. Then suddenly I was cut off of TA. Guess I was too much for them, Anyways, thank you, very nice that complete strangers reached out to me in such a way that I wont soon forget. I was able to successfully "win" my war with them and Im finally excitedly looking forward to taking my kids to a safe healthy (and upgraded) resort in 10 days.

Wonderful! Where did you end up? Did Air Canada fix it or your did your travel agent finally come through?

I had to go over their heads and get creative. I found a high lever mngr and connected with her on linkdin, told my story and begged for help (along with a few gentle threats). It was resolved the next day. Thank you so much!!

Janis; Sandi had been posting on TA for several days with a problem at her assigned resort. Many members of that board had offered assistance to resolve the issue. All of a sudden, TA closed her member account. She was unable to post although she could still read postings. Many of the regulars who had been helping her were curious as to the outcome, so I posted that she attempt to contact us through this board. No one knows why TA closed her member account. She had not posted anything negative about the involved resort. She had only asked for first hand information about an ongoing problem at the resort which had been posted by others.

Very curious....but happy to hear that she seems to have a positive solution. I copied part of your post from here, Sandi, and posted it on the TA board.
