First class postage rates

We will be in Caye Caulker, Belize for Christmas and are considering mailing our Christmas cards from there to the US. Does anyone know the cost of a first class stamp?
Thanks.

I've never mailed anything to the USA, but I've mailed letters to Asia for BZ$1 (US$0.50) per letter.

I'd guess that cards to the USA would be the same or cheaper?

Do you care how long it takes them to arrive? I ask only because I often mail things out of Mexico, and it takes 4-6+ weeks or so (if they arrive at all!).

I had some Christmas cards mailed to me from Belize a few years ago, it took less than two weeks.

We've only mailed things from Costa Rica, but what we did mail took weeks to arrive, and some never arrived at all, so I'd be a little hesitant to do it. We stayed at one place where the owner gave us her bills and asked us to mail them for her once we were back in the States!

Is it that you won't have the cards finished and you have to mail them from Belize? Or is it that it would be cool for everybody to get cards mailed from Belize? If it's the latter, I question if they'll get to your recipients on time. If you have them done and want them to arrive before Christmas, mail them before you leave on your trip.
