Costa Rica Itinerary thru Liberia

Hi all! My husband and I are flying into Liberia on Saturday, 11/26 in the afternoon and leaving on Saturday, 12/3, also in the afternoon (so essentially 6 full days). We are hoping to find a good balance of adventure and relaxation. We would love to do some zip lining, white water rafting, etc. and want to check out the springs, volcano, rain forest and beaches. We are interested in Monteverde and Arenal, and are also hoping to stay at the Four Seasons in Papagayo. I am venturing to guess it will be difficult to hit all three regions in 1 week... what do you think? Do you have a suggestion on how long we should stay in each place and any other tips to make the most of our Costa Rica experience?

Any must-do's or hotel/restaurant reco's, in addition to my itinerary question would be much appreciated! We enjoy splurging on yummy food and lush resorts while on vacation and are soooo excited to visit this gorgeous country!

Thanks again, in advance! ;o)

Out of LIR I usually rent a car mapache.com for freedom

flexibility many options in your limited time...

mapcr.com FourSeasons.com is great the only true 5 star

Brad and Angelina stayed there...

papagayovergastours.com gives you an idea of all activities

rincondelavieja.net you closest rafting etc...

For a couple of days I would take the nice 3 hour paved

drive arount the lake to tabacon.com FREE best hot springs

if you stay there or lostiguanaresort.com

desafiocostarica.com adventures there skytrek.com best zip

In 6 days I would skip MV too crammed bad road in/out

but fondavela.com is nice...

Happy Travels!

royalcorin.com also good from personal experience
