Carry bug repellent into Belize?
Is it possible to bring bug repellent into Belize? Heard they may fine for this. We had to shorten a vacation in Panama due to sand fleas and really don't want to have a repeat. Thanks for any help....!

We brought some, a small spray bottle. We didn't have any problems, but I'm not sure if something has changed since we've been there. I agree - why would they fine you?

Jeff, can't remember where I read this, so just wanted to see if anyone else had heard this. Will just pack a small amount I guess and buy more there if needed. Thanks for commenting ~

Maybe you are thinking that you can't carry an aerosol on a plane? You can always take a lotion form if that is the issue.

My experience is only Mexico but the OFF most use there comes in both aerosol and lotion/cream. I have no idea for Panama and Belize.

Good luck though... sand fleas / no see ums can really ruin a good time Been there done that!
