Has anyone recently stayed at the RIU Palace Las Americas in Cancun? What did you think of the hotel? What are the best tours to take? Any and all help would be GREAT...Thanks!

I haven't stayed there, but from the outside it is one of the most impressive hotels in Cancun. The location is great for nightlife & shopping. You're also very close to the ferry to go over to Isla Mujeres for the day. You can take a bus to the downtown bus station & go to Playa del Carmen for the day, about an hour away and will cost you $5 at most each way. Relax, you picked a great hotel.

If you like crowds and mediocre food, it's probably the nicest AI in Cancun.
