I'm staying at the Cancun Palace in April with an AI package that includes 3 other hotels as well (Sun Palace, Moon Palace, & "another" Palace - can't remember the name at the moment)

Has anyone else stayed or eaten at these hotels?
What did you like/didn't like? How was the food? accomodations? activities?

Hi: Stayed at both Sun Palace and Cancun Palace in 1997. Cancun beaches are fine both hotels have very nice ocean beaches. Food is average to good (not great, avoid lunch and dinner buffets). I prefer Sun Palace it is more upscale and quaint. Cancun Palace is your classic Cancun "Party till you drop hotel" If you are going there to let your hair down relax and party you will have fun. Most room at the Cancun Palace are "basic Holiday INN" nothing special. Most Cancun Beaches are alive and well !!! Email if you have any specific question !!

A question about Cancun: I'm a single guy travelling alone. I've heard that if you're not part of a couple or a group, Cancun is not the place to go.

What are you thoughts?

We stayed at the Moon Palace last May and visited the other Palace resorts on a shuttle service. Very nice accomadations, and fantastic pool at Moon Palace. Good food, several restaurants. Other Palace resorts seemed nice too. The Moon Palace is south of Cancun, and the rest are in Cancun's hotel row. Beach was not the best at Moon Palace, some seaweed; better at the other Palace resorts.

RICK cancun is a good place even if you are single but the ideal place is acapulco best discos in all of mexico and less expensive than cancun buy the way the 15th of may for two weeks it is
the aca fest roudy but fun.
