Cabo - Presidente Inter-Continental

Has anyone ever stayed at the Presidente in San Jose Del Cabo? if so, any helpful information would be appreciated. How long is it to downtown Cabo? Thanks

The hotel is fabulous! Excellent service, food, and it is beautiful. They have 2 theme parties a week which are great. The only downfall is that it is about 25 minutes or so from downtown. It is aways from all the other hotels. However, they do have a shuttle that will take you into downtown at certain times of the day, such as if you want to go shopping, etc. I loved it however!

Hi Anthony,

I just got back from a 3-night stay there and heartily second Jean's recommendation. Great hotel, lots of good restaurants (El Patio is the best, be sure to make reservations), gracious service, and everything's included in the price. If you plan to go to bed early, ask for a room on the estuary side (rooms closer to center of hotel are loud during parties, I suspect). Feel free to let me know if you have any other questions and have a great trip!

Maybe your travel agent never told you but the Presidente sits on a very beautiful looking but very dangerous beach. There are dangerous undertows and they have no signs or postings to warn you. You find out when you get there.

Hi all,

Sam's right, can't swim at the beach at the Presidente (though the beach is really quite pretty and occasionally we saw whales and jumping rays from the hotel beach). Was a bit cold for me to swim this time of year, though (grew up in Florida). I'm not sure how the weather is now...3 weeks ago it was nice and warm during the day (shorts, t-shirt, lots of sunscreen) but windy at night (usually wore a light fleece or long-sleeved shirt at night). Hope this helps and have a great trip!
