Budget Mexican Airlines

Does anyone have any info on the following arlines: Volaris, Avolar and Alma de Mexico? We want to travel from Tiajuana to La Paz/Los Cabos area and wanted any suggestions, experiences, etc that you could share. I am a bit nervous about booking a flight from Tiajuana and traveling to another Mexican destination. Any ideas on where to find safety info/records for each airline?

Is there a reason you don't want to fly directly into Cabo or LaPaz?

Volaris flys new 737s with single cabin leather seats - essentially business class.
Their fares from TIJ are often great bargains.
Would not hesitate to fly with them.

I live in mexico and i have used interjet and volaris, they are very good airlines. Never heard of Alma de Mexico...
Also check Aeromexico and Mexicana, they are the mayor airlines but sometimes have really good deals.
