Thanks Percy, it was Tully! (not to hijack this thread!!) But, we almost canceled that trip because my father had been diagnosed with a rare cancer and was beginning treatments while we would be away. BTW he is still kicking high, playing golf and enjoying life. Even with the minor setbacks of continued years of treatments.
BdC was in fact a phenomenal peaceful place to unwind, sort out my thoughts, face my fears and realize the blessings we have in our lives. It is truly a very very special place.

Ticadonnita - sorry not me. But I am sure we would be friends, if for no other reason but our love of a common place, Costa Rica.

dfarmer :

Great to hear your father is doing so well after all those cancer treatment.

Hi tully:

See I knew it was one of you that took your father ! I remember viewing the pictures.

You and your father took a boat ride out into the ocean.

Your photos are excellent, Tully. You capture BdC so well. You're way overdue to spot that puma with all of your visits!

Tully,
Great pics...bring back wonderful memories, that you and a lot of others that already posted here helped me make

dfarmer said it the best:
<<BdC is one of a handful of places that I dream of returning to. Just so many places in the world to see and just a couple weeks a year to do it, just not enough. But someday I certainly hope to return to this one>>

I keep dreaming about it, so it will happen. Glad to hear Carlos is still there and everythign else is just as wonderful as I remember it.

Tully - I do hope to meet you in June of 2013 at BdC - along with Shillmac and Percy AND many others - please attend. It was in 2005 that my family made our only trip to CR (then 18 yr. old son had gone the summer before with his Spanish class!!). Our 28 yr. old daughter and husband plan to join us too. Love it when they invite themselves - with the knowledge that they will pay for it themselves too - but becuz she knows it will be so worth it! Going to Germany in 2012 but think 2013 will be magical. Thanks for pic post - Tully. HAPPY NEW YEAR.

Thanks Dyer, Happy New Year to you as well. Hope you can make it to the GTG in 2013. Hopefully we will have a whole bunch of us there, and a whole lot of puma sightings!
