Booking tours with SouthAmerica Hotels
My wife and I are planning a trip to Lima/Cuzco/Machu Picchu and have a quote from SouthAmerica Hotels for a 6 day 5 night tour including hotels, buses, vistadome train, tour tickets, various tours in Lima, Cuzco area, Machu Picchu, etc for $522 each. This seems reasonable compared to the cost of booking similar services on our own. Has anyone used or heard of this company? Thanks.

Seriously, $522? I'd be very worried about where you will be staying, the quality of the guides, and the size of the group. The Vistadome train is $113 alone, and the Cusco tourist ticket, MP bus and MP ticket add up to $62 (I think they are $10, $6 x 2, and $40, respectively). That means less than $350 for 5 nights plus guides and miscellaneous transportation. Not to mention, 5 nights including Lima is very fast.
How are you getting from Lima to Cusco?
