Beach good for swimming AND snorkeling in Mayan Riviera
We're interested in visiting next February and love to snorkel and swim. Found nice villas/condos on Half Moon, Soliman Bay, and in Tankah and Akumal. Some seem to be touted as great snorkeling but not good swimming and vice-versa. Are there any Bays/beaches that offer both (a hike down the beach to a reach a good swim or snorkel spot is no issue .. . if it's worth it!) Thanks.

Akumal beach is great for snorkeling and the beach is beautiful.

The beach in Puerto Morelos is great for swimming and snorkeling.

Akumal is indeed a very pretty beach. The snorkeling was ok. Saw 2 turtles, 1 HUGE one, 1 small one...pretty cool. The beach is quite crowded, lots of boats & quite built up in my opinion.
