BA Apartment - Which area??
I know it has been asked many times before, but I really could do with some help choosing which area to rent an apartment in for teh month of December.
I am intending to use BYT Argentina and have asked them for some recommendations. I have narrowed the neighbourhoods down to Palermo and Recolleta but they seem to be big areas (there seems to be about 5/6 different areas of Palermo alone!)
We are looking for some where quiet and safe but close to restaurants and good transport links to the rest of the city.
Any help would be much appreciated. In return I promise to post detailed trip reports of our 2 1/2 months in Argentina.

hi ther, we stayed in what i believe is called palermo soho ( guatemala and armenia) last dec /jan and found both convenient 10 minute or less walk to metro at plaza italia and the buses on avenida santa fe. its a neighborhood teeming w/ great restaurants, bars and boutiques and across santa fe are major blocks of open space
cheers
