Was I Dreaming? Toronto to Liberia for $281 tax in?
Got up very, very early this morning and, as usual, checked all the new posters that came in overnight(ok, I'm obsessed...). I could have sworn I saw some post about a return airfare from Toronto to Liberia for $281. Convince me this was not a dream...I cannot find it now!

Hi, you were not dreaming!
It might be sold out by now.....it was on selloffvacations.com, under the "discount airfares".
It's how we have travelled to all of our destinations the last 5 years. Costa Rica 2x, Panama 2x, Puerto Vallarta, Old Providence Colombia....etc.

Just checked & it;s still there.
Departure December 18th is $95 plus taxes, grand total $281 return.
As you fiddle around with different dates you get many different prices, the different charter flights sell-off their remaining seats last minute.
If you are really interested in a particular date and prices haven't dropped yet you hold off until they do. usually the agents are nice enough to tell you how many seats are left when you call.
We've travelled this way with no problems & have always managed to get hotel rooms even in peak season.

Faithie, I can't believe that rate of $281!!Unfortunatley, I have already booked my flight (last April) and am paying $850 with Air Canada. We are travelling in mid February. We are also travelling with a group of 8, and no one paid less than $650!!!!! I may take a look and book something for later in the year, if the rate still applies. When are you going?
