Any better prices for Fiesta Americana Grand Coral Beach?
I booked directly with the hotel for AAA rate of $151 per night in June. Most rates I see at on-line "discounts" were more. Has anyone been there recently or found better rates for summer?

I called Fiesta Americana hotels directly to book. The number is 1-800-FIESTA1 if you live in the US or Canada. Try that-you may have better luck. They also offered that same rate with an Entertainment Card.

I just had a thought. I booked it for 11 nights to give us some leeway, as husband's vaca. time is not definite. I wonder if they give you a discount for booking a longer stay? I vaguely remember this happening to me years ago in Mexico.

I just called the 800 number and asked about June 20-25 and got the $151 rate, BUT it is for ocean view, which is at the ends of the building. They said I could get oceanfront, which is in the center of the building for $167. The club rate was more, but I've read that it isn't worth the money. I'm thinking I should probably take the $167 oceanfront instead. Am interested to hear what you end up with.

have you stayed at the FAGCB before? we were therelast year. funny, we swore we'd NEVER go back to mexico again (this was my 3rd trip), but now we'd like to back this june, same hotel. send me your email if you'd like to chat about vacations and cancun. i hate to keep posting stuff here. tks. have you checked out the new fiesta hotel on line, it just opened .. Aqua? it's a bit pricy for a terrace and i read the rooms are smaller than our (ha!) hotel.
