What is "cheap" for you? Are you trying to plan ahead (now) or are you able to go last minute? Where are you flying from? A helpful search engine website is itasoftware.com.

The dates are pretty set, give or take a day or 2. It's for a humanitarian trip that goes from May 7-20. I would be flying from Salt Lake City. The best airfare I can find is $475 on Continental, anything less than that. I thought consolidators would be less, but I'm not finding anything. Thanks.

IMO that sounds like a decent fare unless you come across a "sale". NW had a sale a while back for $204 roundtrip, but those went fast.

Good luck!

I think that's pretty cheap actually. I'm going in May out of ZTampa FL and am paying $500+. Unless you can wait & see if you can get get a cheapie last minute fare I'd take that.

Take that fare before it's gone. I paid $740 per person in March from Newark (direct flight) to San Jose.

475 a piece is great! We had good luck finding airfare right round that price through spirit airlines.

jvh- you can trying staying up one night into the wee hours searching for or bidding on airfare. At least that will give you a good idea, and often you will find that these discount sites will give you better schedule times or nonstop direct flights for the same price the airline sites have for less convenient routes. I have gotten good fares on Expedia, Travelocity and cheaptickets.com. Also, if you hit the "buy" button, and your purchase gets processed but the rate is no longer available(sold out), my experience with cheaptickets was that they refunded my card within 24 hours. Good luck!

I agree, grab it quick! We're paying $621 (American) out of Dallas for this summer. Continental (for Spring Break) was almost $800. It had been $575 for awhile, but I didn't take it and it never came back down. In fact, continued up toward $1100. $475 is incredible, my opinion!
