Airfare from Newark to Cancun in December
Hello,
We are planning our first trip to Cancun in early December. Right now, air fare is around $500, should I wait to book? Will prices go down a little as it gets closer to December? Any advice would be greatly appreciated!!! Thank you.

Flying a major airline out of Newark, $500.00 RT is not a bad price. I've seen them $700.oo plus. If you can, check out airfares out of Philadelphia. You'll find that you can save several hundred dollars per ticket -- check on usair.com

Sixty: We didn't go in December but we did go in June. We paid about $550 (including taxes) Newark>Cancun non-stop with Continental. And about $450 for our toddler. I kept checking the fares until our departure and they didn't go lower than that.
I would think December fares would be more expensive so your fare sounds pretty good to me.
