adult, quiet AI?

We are looking for a quick get away from Boston, probably for 5 nights at an all inclusive. We are looking for quiet, mature place that is not teeming with kids (we're teachers! We need a break!). Not looking for a party type locale. We're very open as to location; looking for a place where we can relax, play tennis, lay on the beach - we're not needing much adventure this time around. Can afford up to $350 a night (going in May). Any thoughts?

Your help is much appreciated-

Many years ago spent a wonderful week at Club Maeva Manzanillo. Truly restful.

I second the recommendation for Secrets. I stayed at the Secrets in Puna Cana and loved it.

We like the Royal Hideaway which is an Occidental hotel on the Mayan Riviera in Playacar. No kids under the age of 14, great food, pool etc. Not sure if it incurred any hurricane damage recently; I heard it was closed for awhile. It is quiet and lovely. The one downside may be the small beach area. They have had some erosion problems but it didn't bother us. We loved the spot!
