In case there's anyone left who cares.

Not that I can see, it hasn't. I reported a couple of Korean spammers earlier today, and they've gone.

As PatrickLondon noted, the bots are Korean -- its a unique language. Unfortunately, I can't report them -- a previously identified problem with the triangle for some of us (including me ). At least Korean posts are easy to recognize and ignore...

The staff here see them and delete them every day--I see no need to either triangle or start threads here.

The Europe page is unusable at the moment.

It's usable -- just look for English. A PITA for sure...

I wish I could use my triangle, but as previously reported, I can't.

I guess the new Fodor's owners and editors really don't care about the input of even their most reliable, consistent, and frequent contributors. Sad....

Close to unusable. I have just counted on the Europe forum. Out of the first 50 threads, just 30 of them are the Korean things. That's too many and too much. Annoying.

The new owners care about as much about these boards as the old ones did, which is to say, not a lot, and less and less as time goes on, I'm willing to bet.

Now out of 50 threads, 48 are Korean spams. Unusable.

It may just be time to abandon Fodors altogether, I'm sorry to say. We should probably set up a thread on each of the main boards and vote on where we want to defect to.

I value this community greatly, but it's a sinking ship and that's no longer a debatable point. We should simply adjourn and reconvene elsewhere.

But where? Suggestions, please?

Leave the boards because you can't read them easily for, what, an hour or two? Bye!

People who check in at some hours of the day miss the bulk of the spam. I am in Europe, and generally log on the the morning, when it is at its height. I just counted, and 91 of 100 posts on the first page are spam.

I presume that Fodor's would like to have Europe-based posters offering advice on European destinations. If this continues, then I will take NewbE's advice, as might other Europe-based contributors.

Here in Europe, the spams pop up until about 2 p.m., until they are deleted when the American moderators wake up. This means, during half of day the forum is almost impossible to use.

Agree, I've stopped looking at the European forum, it's too annoying. You have to scroll several pages to find a couple of real posts. It's not just for an hour or two, the asian posts take over for most of the day.

Guys, a play-by-play is not necessary, thanks.
