I have no ideas about the Casinos, sorry...
But as far as I know the boat on the lake are operating until Oct 19 only. Just a very few special round trips are offered, such as the Fondue-boats on Tue, Wed, Thu evenings.

1. There are no boats on the Zurichsee in November (except the carferry Horgen - Meilen and the passenger ferries Richterswil / Wädenswil - Männedorf / Stäfa
2/3. The casino licenes have been reorganised last year, with the consequence that there's no casino in Zurich anymore. The next casinos are in Baden AG and Pfäffikon SZ (both 20 min by train). www.casino.ch (only in German)

If you are considering a visit to the Wine Boats in early November it is great fun. There are 4 or 5 boats docked for a week at Burkliplatz. They do not travel on the lake.
Entrance is about 6 CHF and you can wine taste all day. No way can you hit each stall - there are far too many - from all over - Canada, Spain, South Africa etc.
Its a great activity on a cold, gray, rainy day.
