Zurich: Kindli or Florhof?

Which one of these do you suggest for a 2-night stay in Zurich this summer?

Susan: Both are really fine. About the same size, i.e. small. Book asap and take the one you can get in. Incidentally, they do work together and will indicate the other place, if the one you call should be fully booked.
Kindli is somewhat closer, but Florhof is sort of a secret hidden place with a very nice terrace restaurant in summer.
Have a nice stay in my town!

.. sorry, I meant to write the Kindli is somewhat more centrally located. The Florhof is opposite the Museum of Fine Arts and still very central. Incidentally, you will be able to "do" the very city by walking.

Ursula, thanks for your response. I'm booked at both and need to cancel one asap. We'll be there either 1 or 2 nights. Maybe for such a short stay the Kindli would be a better choice?

Good evening, Susan
Have stayed at the KINDLI about eight times since 1987, when we first found it
have been very satisified, room are not
huge but hotel is quiet and small, especially since they move the Swiss
Folkloric show from the ristorante on
the first floor. A couple of good
ristorantes nearby are the CANTINETTA
ANTINORI, in Augustinergasse, $$$$,
BINDELLA, im Gassen 6, $$$, CHURRASCO,
Glockengasse, 9 $$$, and BIERHALLE KROPF
in Gassen, 16... Richard of LaGrange Park, Il...

Richard, thanks so much for the restaurant tips! We won't be in Zurich very long so we're anxious to make the most of it! I'll take any tips you're willing to give! Susan
