your experience using europebyair.com

I did a search and found some old info, but am wondering about people's recent experiences using this company. Are flights actually easy to book or are the airlines so obscure that it is difficult to deal with them? Assuming that you've done your homework before buying the vouchers and these flights are actually cheaper than you could do on your own, would you use this option again? Also, can anyone explain the part where it says that you need to buy a 3 voucher minimum package, but it then says that this requirement has been suspended. Thanks.

We used europebyair last november from athens to paris. we bought 4 tickets for four of us for $100 each. Had to pay for tax at the counter in athens. Experience was easy with no problems. Would do it again as it was so much cheaper than Air france or olympia.

mjs--

Could you please clarify something for me. "we bought 4 tickets for four of us for $100 each". Does this mean you actually just bought 1 ticket per person with a different name on each of the 4 vouchers? I've been confused about the web site statement on the need to buy 3 tickets and then having the ticket voucher match the name on the passport. thanks.

Julie,

Although I cannot tell you thid from personal experience, I think that there is NO requirement to buy three (voucherss (flights, segments) - - in one name nor in several. They did away with that requirement a year or two ago.

Best wishes,

Rex
We bought the $99 flight pass two years ago and there was no requirement to buy 3 vouchers. There was 4 of us and we did need to provide each traveler's name for each $99 voucher. We flew on Alpi Eagle from Palermo to Venice. We also made reservations in advance and everything went very smoothly. There is a phone number on the website where you can call to get more specific information which I did before purchasing the vouchers. They were very helpful and accommodating.
