Yet another Wengen/Murren decision

Looking for help in deciding the final step for an Italy and Switzerland itinerary for next July. We'll be ending the tour in BO region for 4-5 nights. Trying to decide whether to base in Wengen the whole time, with a day trip over to Murren... Or split time maybe 3 nights in Wengen and 2 in Murren. Thanks!

Hi B,

This question has been asked MANY times. Simply type your question in the seach box and read forever. This will save you time waiting for the same/similar replies. IMO, the answer is why would you move to another location with only a few days in the area?

Stay in one place and take day trips. The two are very close. It will also save you the time of packing/unpacking, checking out of one, and waiting to check into another. Why bother with the hassle. Wengen would probably be the one I would chose.

Mike- I have been on this site "MANY" times and am very familiar with the search procedure. Many previous Posters have thrown in Grindelwald and Lauterbrunnen in the mix. I'm just down to the 2 options. I've been to Wengen, but not to Murren and am wondering if a day trip to Murren would suffice, or if it would be a different experience staying in Murren for a couple of nights.

Thanks Budman, I think I'm leaning toward Wengen, with a day trip over to Murren and Gimmelwald.

I've been to the BO 8 times and Wengen is the obvious choice as it's much more central to the other areas.
