WOW: Did Fodor's Change the Type?

Hello All, I feel like I just took out a book from the library, and found out it was in large print! Verrry strange?!!! Maybe they decided that most of the Fodorites were members of "AARP".... not that there is anything wrong with that..... not me, no way, maybe when I am 70 something.
Judy

Judy,
You are correct, we changed the font size you again can control the sizing.

Also note we restored the Topic Select function so you can view posts by country/state/topic again. Check out the thread entitled Topic Select Restored! for more information.

Best Regards,

Aisling Brennan

Judy, I just logged on, wearing my glasses, and was almost blinded! BTW, I am a member of AARP but still manage to hobble my way around Europe - that was said with a smile. When did this change happen?

Marilyn: Yes, that was tongue in cheek, my husband is a member, but I refuse to join on principal. My parents belong. YIKES! I am getting older by the minute.
As for the changes Aisling stated, it must have happened sometime this morning. I was web wandering and I was like you with my half glasses....wholey moley!!! It is large! Judy ;-)

They changed it this morning along with adding country menu. You can reset the type on your computer. Just go to the view folder on your menu bar-select text-select smaller. Now your back to regular type. Or leave it big if you can't see.

Good Reading,

Gerry

Thanks so much, Aisling

I was having molto problems with the font size (Mac G3, Netscape 4.51) until you made this change. Clicking on the "increase font size" was only consistent for the frame I was in at the time, so I was spending a lot of time just trying to see what was on the site. However, the left-hand frame is still weensy. Are you planning to change that also?

Congrats on the upgrade. I think it's great!

I am also a Mac G3 with Netscape user and I appreciate the incresed font size. THANKS. I agree with betsy that the left scrolling screen is too tiny and constantly needs readjusting
