Oh - I forgot to add that while France is my favourite country, I wouldn't return to Nancy or Toulon, what dumps!

I would also have to vote for Jamacia....
I decided to go scuba diving and all of the eqipment was really old (second hand from Hawaii as I understand) - anyway I kept floating to the top of the water even with all of the eqipment on so the guide broke off a piece of coral and told me as long as I hung on to it I wouldn't have a problem.
I did still go on the dive, but I was concerned that maybe my airtank would also decide not to work!

U.S.A. - Been to every single state except Hawaii and can't think of anything that could get me to go back.

I hope if Kelly did not like any State that she is OUT OF here. Too many people in the States, especially those named Kelly. Go. Go. Go.

Worst place I've stayed?

Prince Rupert, British Columbia.

It's true: I brought it on myself by not having a reservation ahead of time. (Got away with that in Venice.)

But instead of counting sheep that night, I counted the rats gnawing on the studs behind the headboard...

To Napoleon: why on earth would or could you even list Elba as a "worst place?" It is one of Italy's most beautiful islands, and, accordingly to history, both the Etruscans first, then Napoleon later, loved the place. It is on my list of favorites and I intend to return there this next summer.

Worst place would be the former eastern/northern Germany towns in proximity to Berlin.

Lake Lugano. Nastiest people I have ever encountered. My husband is black and one of the other couple was from Jamaica. Very open hostility.
