As everyone (mostly) has said, you did NOT make a wrong choice. I just returned from a trip to Positano and Rome, and it would have made an ideal honeymoon (alas, it was not one for me).

Positano in particular is incredibly romantic and magical and is full of couples soaking up the romance! Have a great trip and drink plenty of limoncello.

You did well, Emily. Congratulations. Just make a point of going to Venice & Florence (and Lake Como, while you're at it) on an anniversary trip!

I've been to Rome, Positano and Capri. They are all beautiful and you will have a fantastic time in all three places. The Amafi coast is stunning. You should visit Ravello while you are there, the views are unbeatable. You must also go on the drive, it's pretty hair raising! As for Rome, it is unmissable. So much to see and so easy to get around. Have a great time.
