I understand that in July, a lot of the towns in Germany have wine festivals, showcasing their local wines and foods. Does anyone have a website or something that would list which town is hosting what and when? I'm looking for something in the area around Mannheim. I will be visiting the area for a week. Thank you

I don't know if there is going to be any one ste that collects the information into one location reliably. your chances will be better that someone here will know about a specific "weinfest" that might be a fit for your trip. I honestly don't know of any wine festivals in July, specifically; the bulk of them take place in September near harvest time. There is a 5-day pretzel festival in nearby Speyer, however, from 7/13-17, with the bulk of the activities on the first 3 days, and the Speyer cathedral is definitely worth a visit.
