Please remember that we are a small country and our cost of living is high. Our petrol (gas) is a lot dearer here. So hotels etc have to charge high rates in order to survive. In saying that - some other european countries are dearer than us

Your best bet when visiting this country is to contact the local Tourist Information Office.<BR>These offices maintain lists of accommodation that is available locally ranging from B&B's to top grade hotels.<BR>Most of them have web sites, just type in the name of the village, town or city that you are visiting.<BR>Enjoy England!
