Who's quote is this? Need help!

Something like this:

If you want a job half-done, hire a servant. If you want it not done, hire 2 servants. If you want the job done, do it yourself.

Do you know who said it? Probably one of the European authors. Google is not helping

That is from my wife, except you have it backwards...

If you want the job around the house planned and started, but never finished, have Dave do it.

If you want it finished, hire a pro.

Something to with a certain wall I haven't finished, but gosh it has only been 3 years.

Don't be discouraged. Our kitchen was down to bare studs and joists for so many years that a friend said: "Look, I'll give you some hams and salamis to hang from the joists and you can declare your kitchen done."

Oh, by the way, Google gives me "if you want the job to be done, tell your children they are not allowed to do it"
