This is so neat to see everyone's plans. We'll be in Florence May 14-17, Sorrento May 17-19, and Rome May 19-21. I can't wait, I can't wait.

My daughter and I will be flying into Trieste on May 13 (my son is living there). Heading for Sorrento on the 15th and on to Rome on the 19th. Back to Trieste May 21 and taking day trips to Venice. Back to the states on the 26th. Cannot wait - we are SO excited!! And these threads have been so very useful and enjoyable!

ME ME ME!!!!! We are arriving in Rome on the 13th & then traveling by train to Venice on the 18th & leaving for Greece on the 20th. Have fun everybody!

I am traveling with my mother, and nephew. It will be their first time.
We will be in Venice from May 11th to the 15th. On to Rome May 15th for 9 nights. We are very excited! Can't wait!!!

We will be in Rome for three nights very end of May and then drive to Montefalco in Umbria for a further five nights. Cannot wait - Italy is becoming an annual pilgrimage for us - would be good to hear of any restaurant recommendations in Umbria

Jodee - also, I can't wait to hear about your Monaco adventure during (right after?) the Grand Prix. I've been to Monaco twice but it wasn't during that time - some friends and I are planning to make a specific trip to Monaco for the Grand Prix and I'd love to hear about it.

Hi flygirl - Yes! we're reserved for ballooning with the group you recommended in Tuscany. I believe we're doing it on the 25th or 26th (can't remember and the confirmation is at home).

We are staying in Eze the 28th-30th and the Grand Prix is the 27th so we are just missing it. We had to start our Eze reservation on the 28th as the hotel rate was more than double on the 27th.

I'll definitely be writing a trip report all about it!!

Trip to celebrate my 50th birthday this month. Party of 8, we leave on Wednesday, the 9th and return the 20th. Spending two nights in Rome then on to Tuscany to a home rented in Montecatini Terme for a week. Will make day trips from there to Florence, Pisa, Lucca, Cinque Terre and Sienna. Can't wait!
