Who has heard of these Geek towns?

I'm looking at spending three nights in a town in the Mani. Early research on the net says that Areopoli, Kardamyli are the choice. What can anyone tell me about these towns....eg, accommodation, transport, food etc?

A beautiful "coffee table" book and reference is "The Most Beautiful Villages of Greece" by Mark Ottaway, it has a section and pictures of the Mani.

Geek towns out here include Redwood City, Woodside, and even Palo Alto (all more or less in Silicon Valley).

Right, Betsy. Unfortunately, the Geek Gods do not usually resemble the Greek Gods.

Sure they do, Marilyn. You just have to ignore the pocket protectors and the tape on the glasses. Once you learn to do that....VOILA!! Geek God, at your service!

Brim, I am trying to picture a naked Adonis with a pocket protector, but I just can't figure it out.
