Are you in any Facebook group, perchance?

They just got delivered to work and I haven't walked in them yet. I just tried them on. They seem comfy.

I would say the Supergas look like Keds on steroids.

IMD, clearly you COULD care less about fashion, since you are reading this thread

I also read about plane crashes and local sewer problems.

IMD, I was actually funning you about the phrase "I could care less", when I believe you meant the opposite.

Sewer problems are of enormous practical interest when they arise, I imagine. Plane crashes are more of a rubbernecking situation. But I digress.

This thread is two weeks old. I suspect something else is now the rage.

I ordered a half size smaller of each, from Zappos, last night, and they are sitting in my office right now. Wow.

flygirl, I know! Zappos can be so freaky fast, it's as if they KNEW what you were going to order

Indeed!

The half size down is better, but, the JP's have those little nibs at the bottom and one is slightly misplaced and digs into my instep. Nicht Gut. Darn it. I will walk on my carpet at home with both and see if I can tolerate the larger size or not. Or just return both and re-order the smaller size.

"Isn't it fun that white sneakers are finally the RAGE in Europe?"

What ? Are Americans goint out sometimes of their country ? I'm wearing white sneakers since decades now, and most of my friends have white kicks in their collections.
The sneakers industry is quite strong in Europe, with European brands and designers like Goliath, Raf Simmons, Kris Vanasche, Veja... and they have all white sneakers in their lines.
I got around 50 pair of sneakers, and only 3 pairs of Nike..

OK, during the past two weeks I have been in Amsterdam, Paris, Munich, Verona, and now in Rome. I can assure you that white sneakers are not any more evident now than I have ever seen them over here and I have been to Europe every year for the last five years.

Some folks simply need attention.

50 pairs? I don't have anything like 50 pairs of shoes let alone just "sneakers".

but I see that verysneakers may have an ulterior motive for his/her post, which could explain it.

Darn, I'd been saving my white sneakers for such an event and now they are old and moldy looking.

That might work. Ask the fashionistas if green and white sneakers are also in this year.

Of course the only obvious problem with this post is that the writer wasn't in any of these cities during Fashion Week, which is a major foundational detail in the OP's post.

<i><font color=#555555>"Some folks simply need attention."</font></i>

Which seems precisely the reason why someone would take the time to come here, post something silly and irrelevant, while supposedly traveling to five major cities in Europe. LOL.

Snobby mentions "... a major foundational detail in the OP's post".

Does she have amnesia or does she always refer to herself in the third person?
