White (in Rome) - is it good?

We're celebrating our anniversary in late November and are looking for a nice 4-5-star hotel in Rome.

Has anyone ever stayed in White? How is it?

Any nice hotel recommendations?

Thanks a bunch.

--
Just to show where my head is at, I saw the title of this thread & thought "wearing white in Rome???" - oh no, they'll stick out amidst the sea of dark colors!

Sorry, haven't stayed at the White Hotel either.

One of which I'd not heard.

Opened 7 years ago. Location is fairly central.

Standard rates look a bit high. Perhaps you're getting a better deal than rack rate.

Street will be nondescript, but you'll be not too far from many sights, restaurants, transport.

Ed
Rome.Switzerland.Bavaria
www.twenj.com
Thought it was seeking comparisons between Rieslings and Chiantis.

Enjoyed the Crown Plaza Minerva. Nice hotel w/a good, but quiet location and it's been a long time since I've seen a hot water pot (for making coffee/tea) in a European hotel room. (bring your own hot chocolate)

Well Kat you definitely got my attention with the white word. Not familiar with the hotel but it's midnight and I needed a laugh which I got from some of the replys. I also thought white in November, are they
crazy, you don't pack white for travel even in the summer! Hope the hotel has
clean white sheets.
