Which shoe to buy for our upcoming trip

I know the obvious answer...which ever one is more comfortable. But there is more to it than that. Both shoes I'm looking at are comfortable. I currently own the following pairs of shoes and need to decide soon which to return:

Ecco Men's Fusion Moc Tie

Lowa Renegade II GTX Lo
http://www.zappos.com/n/p/p/7160197.html

The main reason I am asking this question is becuase I like the Lowas a bit more but my wife thinks I'll look silly w/ a trail type shoe on in the city.

Our trip includes cities (Athens, Venice, Milan, Barcelona) and some Dolomite walking (not too many trails due to snow in May) and some towns w/ steep steps and streets (Santorini and Bellagio).

Any thoughts?

Thanks

I would keep & take them both. Especially when traveling, I like to have at least two pairs to trade off between (either one day to the next or from daytime to evening) because you likely will spend so much time on your feet, walking walking walking.

I'm really trying to take only one pair of shoes. If I take a second pair it will be a pair of tennis shoes that I already have.

Which is most comfortable to you? The Ecco got better comfort ratings on the than the Lowa, and the Lowa looked heavy, but may not be.

Your wifey is the person who will be traveling with you. Why ask strangers instead of her? Bring her on line and we will get the true story about your feet - there must be more to it.

Neither one. Get this: http://www.zappos.com/n/p/p/103888/c/307.html

Top rated shoe, including comfort.

Please take two pair of shoes (seriously, you'll thank me later).

If your other pair is sneakers, then I would definitely choose the Ecco because they would look a bit less sporty for evenings.
