Which paris hotel is best?

We are a family of four with two teenagers, we'd like some space but don't want to break the bank. Am thinking of a suite of connecting rooms or a quad. Think the Latin Quarter or St. Germain area would be interesting. Anyone familiar with Hotel Claude Bernard St. Germain, or Hotel Dauphine St. Germain, or the Best western Serotel Lutece? ANy suggestions or comments welcome.

Hi
If you do a search on this website on the hotels, you will find past comments on the Claude Bernard for sure, and perhaps the others as well.
Also look for comments at
www.paris.org/hotels.
At the Claude Bernard I have read that the rooms facing the street can be noisy.
Regarding the Dauphine St Germain,
the reliable book "Cheap Sleeps in Paris" mentioned "larger" rooms, quiet, some have poor views, some have great views. American-style breakfast buffet available for additional charge. Air conditioning, hairdryers, tv, elevator.
The heading states which paris hotel is best? The answer is the Ritz of course!! since this was not the answer the poster was looking for to others who post please be specific in your headings so more people can read and contribute .....It is all in the name of travel information exchange...I am not familiar with any of these choices but I do know that the Ritz is the best in Paris...

Every time someone wants a modestly priced hotel in a good location in Paris, I always recommend the Libertel Bellechasse, which is in the St. Germain neighborhood, a stone's throw from the Musee' D'Orsay and the Seine, and an easy 10 minute walk from the Louvre. Prices are reasonable considering the location, and the breakfast buffet is one of the best. Just be sure to ask to see a room first, because some of them are pretty small and are appropriately priced. Although they might not have connecting rooms, the hallways are small and the room doors are therefore very close. You'd have to ask about a quad or connecting rooms; I never needed them. You can get contact info on www.libertel.com or www.mercure.com.

Saint-Paul in the 6eme (not the Marais) has a quad that runs approx 200/euro a night.
