Which is the most reliable site for weather forecasts.

Having looked at the forecasts for Rimini Italy on Weather Underground it says cloud and some rain for the period beginning Sunday 27 May yet on the BBC weather site it says the forecasts are for temperatures in the 80 - 90 degrees range with sun. Which do I trust?? Is there a weather website that is generally known to be the most relaible.?

My favourite weather site is wetter.com

It looks like you'll have some light rain on Sunday and then some light rain Monday and Tuesday morning. Otherwise, warm but not too hot!

"Which do I trust?" Neither 100%. No one can predict the weather 100% accurately.

Hi Buzzy - I always go by the following:

http://meteo.repubblica.it/tempo_ita.../RIMINI/EMR/RN

Sunday & Monday are listed as variable, temps approx 25C.

Hope this helps ...

Beyond about 48 hours in advance, there isn't any reliable source for weather forecasts. This is especially true in places with highly variable weather, such as the majority of Europe.

I would agree with last poster, weather forecasting is only a prediction not a science and even the best sites can change depending on local weather conditions. For example here in Piedmont it was supposed to be clear all week, but yet we had thunderstorms last night, hardly suprising if you live here and felt the build-up. I distrust all the weather sites and am amazed that folks rely on 7 day forecasts (do thses really work even in USA?) as they all tell you sometjing different. Having said that CNN weather tends to be more accurate then most in our part of the world , and if you want a local Italian site try http://meteo.notizie.virgilio.it/ and click on the map for your location.
