Which hotel would you pick for Brussels?

The Metropole. It is classy and old world. Convenient location to the main square. If you don't stay there, go for a drink, coffee, or lunch, dinner. The room is terrific. If the weather is nice, they may have the outdoor portion set up. Been there twice and will always stay there when possible.

Haven't stayed at any of the hotels you mentioned since when I visited Brussels I stayed with a friend. However, she raves about the Conrad and took us there to see it. Very old world, very classy in a beautiful section of Brussels - the Avenue Louisa which is like Park Ave. in NY.

Hi Lisa,
When I was last in Brussels, I stayed at the Radisson SAS and was very glad I did. The atrium is built around part of the original wall of Brussels. The rooms were spacious and if you're there on a weekend you get a terriffic rate. Check out their website when you get a chance.

This past February, we invited our daughter and husband to join us for a trip to Belgium and stayed at the Conrad in Brussels---lovely place and location.
Our son-in-law has an incredible ability to find his way in cities. Thanks to that ability, when my wife said "Daniel, can you take us back to that antique shop, the one with the beautiful chandelier?" he found it and now our home has a special memory of that trip.

I recommend the Hotel Manos. If you stay here be sure to request a garden facing room. The rooms on the street can be quite noisy.

http://www.manoshotel.com/manos/frame/index.html
