Which Flight Plan Would You Chose?

I am planning a trip.
I will be going to Paris, and then onto Belgium.

I have two choses of how to arrange my flights.

1- fly in and out of London,(non-stop)
taking the trains to get to Paris, and to get back to london from Belgium.
cost, around $460 plane plus $100 train=$560

2- Fly directly into Paris,(non-stop)
and fly back from Belgium to Boston, with onestop over. flights around $600

thanks for any advice .

I'd go for the second choice, as it would give you more time in the places you want to visit. Just my opinion.

#2 sounds much more pleasant, alot less train time & w/ only the one additional airport transfer on your way home

I would take option 2. Since you don't plan to spend time in London, flying in and out and then taking trains to and from seems like a lot of time and hassle--time that would be better spent in Paris and Belgium.

Thanks guys,
It is unanimous (ack , spelling!)
#2 it is.
After I looked into train fares
London-Paris and Brussels to London
it was cheaper anyway!

Plus, while I don't HATE train travel, it isn't my fav to do.

Thanks again for taking time to reply.

please check also : www.applefares.com for low budget flights out of paris (beauvais, Charles de gaulle, orly) in/out from london (luton/stansted/heathrow/city) as well as brussel (charleroi/international) or Oostend (close to bruges) or antwerp (40km north of brussel). I recommend to visit all three cities (brugges/brussel and antwerp) or have a resort day in knokke or oostend.

#2, and don't forget to add one-way rail fare to get from Paris to Brussels (buy roundtrip if you must).
