Where Would You Go?

3 females, early 30s are planning a trip to Europe. We can not decide between Greece and Spain. Where would you go?

What are your interests once you get to your destination? History? Fun in the sun? Strolling? Shopping?

How much time do you have?

I'd go to Greece, and either: spend a few days to a week in Turkey, or spend a few days to a week in Italy on the way back.

I am asking "where would you go?" As you can see I'm asking for your opinions on both places. If you have been to both places please respond if you have not then please do not respond.

Have to admit, I wouldn't want to go to either in August with the exception of Northern Spain ("Green Spain&quot, but I haven't been there, so it's just from what I've heard from Spanish friends.

I love them both, but I would also pick neither in August. Crowded, hot and miserable...not my idea of fun.

How about Sweden,or Scotland?

Been to both - Spain in April and August, Greece in April.

Personally, I don't think the fact that it is August plays into this debate. I mean, August is what it is (hot, crowded, etc), but sometimes you can only go in August.

I think you will love whichever one you choose. If I really had to pick, I would say Greece. Islands, ancient culture and yummy feta cheese... what more can you ask for, really?
